life after love

As I'm told by people who know much more about Latin than I do, "amor vincit omnes" doesn't actually mean "love conquers all," at least not in the sense that love overcomes all obstacles. Instead, it means something more like "love conquers everyone," since, sooner or later, we all succumb to its ambiguous embrace.

funny, though i know latin, i never even thought to break apart the phrase, but yes, it's true, it doesn't mean all, but everyone.
