On sites dealing with the loss of a pregnancy or a baby, I've often seen the term "rainbow baby" used to refer to a child born after a loss.
I suppose it doesn't pay to think about these things too carefully. Because, if I recall correctly, the rainbow represents G-d's promise that He will never again destroy the world by flood.
He isn't promising anything else.

I'm not a fan of the Rainbow Baby thing or babydust or any of that. It always seems a little odd to me.
As for G-d, I personally believe that he has given us (ie. society and/or Drs and scientists) the brains to figure out how to save all children from dying. Society just hasn't bothered to use their brains for that purpose. I wish they would.
Is it wrong that I laughed out loud at this and shared it with my husband who said, "Nice, very nice." lol!
Glad to hear that someone else finds this funny. In, you know, a sick kind of way.
