so sweet

Clarissa just sent me a email saying that she knew this Mother's Day would be a hard one for me and hoping that by next Mother's Day there would be a baby in my arms or, at least, one on the way.

Touching and thoughtful. Sounds like she is one of the good ones.
I hope so three.

I think I am lucky in that Mother's Day is not a huge commercial deal here at all. I am largely escaping it (ok it's also because I don't go out much either). And in the UK it's a different day, in March. Don't ask me why.

((hugs))

Yeah, Mother's Day is a tough one. I hope next year will be better for all of us.

I hope the same for you too :)

Those small acts of kindness can mean so much. It always reminds me that it doesn't take much to let someone know you care.

Hmmm... maybe there is someone I should be sending a note to right now.

Oh, and let me add my wishes for a very different mother's day for you next year too.

there are some (few) people who really do know the right thing to do.

It's funny because, actually, Mother's Day isn't that big a deal for me.

But I think it's incredibly thoughtful for Clarissa to take the time and effort to consider that it might be difficult for me -- something I never would have thought of until I started reading the blogs of mothers who had lost children.

Just to say ditto. Everyone should get your hearts desires, whatever they may be.
