wow that's gorgeous. I'd kill for a view like that! My view at the momment isn't to bad, currently looking ot over Sheffield city centre, there's even a patch of blue sky to light up the cranes!
If I'd taken a picture from my office window (instead of from my home study/guest room), you'd be seeing an airshaft-slice of various brick walls, bits of fence and alley, and a few square inches of sky.
But if I had a view at work like yours, I'd never go home.
That's stunning. I'd never get any work done, staring at the boats moving to and fro. Everytime I have to (get to?) go to a meeting in a big highrise office building with great views, I gravitate to the windows, especially happy when there's water in the distance.

Window? What window? I could take a pic of the brick wall in front of my computer...
It's pretty awesome.
I, on the other hand, have no windows in my office... Well, maybe one day, when I grow up...
WOW!!! I don't have a view yet, but promise to post one when I do.
I'm imaging how amazing it must look when a storm is coming in.

I'm glad you decided to play!
That is beautiful! Is that from home or at work?
Sara It's the view from my office window. Unfortunately, I only wish I had a house on the water.
dd You are so right about storms coming in.
Holy schmoly! That's nice. I'd never get any work done.
I currently have a lovely view of a construction site (update to the sewer system) and a parking lot.
well. you lucky duck!

Of course, nosy me, now I'm trying to figure out what city you are in! And yes, very nice view!
I have: The Chicago River, the The Wrigley Building, Tribune Tower, and a clear shot up the Mag Mile to the Lake. Not to brag or anything.
Sorry, Aurelia, I purposely tried to take the shot from an angle that doesn't reveal landmarks.
The view is very soothing when I'm having a less-than-pleasant discussion with someone on the phone.
Ooooh Still Born could we possibly see a picture?
I tried to post the picture but blogger said no. Here's the link though:

If you're at all familiar with Chicago, the frame of reference is the Holabird and Root Building at Michigan and Wacker.
Love the water view Niobe! Very relaxing...and still born: nive view too of downtown Chicago. I'd still take the water view though :)
Still Born: Love it. Though the angle is a bit vertiginous, as though the camera and photographer might tumble out the window any second.
Funny you should mention that as that's exactly what happened right after I took the picture.
Ooooh! NICE!
