That was fun. I followed the link and viewed the pictures. Some beautiful areas in the world, eh? I might take some shots from some of the areas in my neck of the woods and see if I can post them. Thanks!

What a nice way to show a part of your world.

What a great idea, thanks for sharing it.

You're so dang mysterious. You would show us the little industrial details.

I can't for the life of me figure out what the second one is. But they are lovely photos.

Ditto on the second pic, what is it? Love the hydrant photo.

The second one is the coupling (or part of it, anyway) of two cars on a train. If you look in the upper right hand corner, below the yellow line, you can see the C and K at the end of STAND BACK on the platform. I took the picture from a parking lot, looking down onto the train tracks.

What beautiful photos, I liked them a lot.

Thanks for your comment. My mother's second message was strange but then again my mother does not like to talk about the darker side of life so maybe her first "thinking of you and praying for you" message was just a general mother-love message and I read too much into it.

I should just go out and try and take some photos although they will pale in comparison to yours.

Very curious pictures - they look like home, except the green hydrant. Hmmm!
