yum.
Is that Mattea going at that apple? She's got gusto there.
We went apple picking today too. Didn't get Cortlands, but I have Macouns for baking and Honey Crisps for ending this crappy diet. Two more days.

I am on the fence about apple picking this year. We usually go every year to an orchard that I used to go to as a child. It is a beautiful, family and children filled place. I just don't know if I can do it child-free this year.

Is there an apple pie in your future?? If so, I am bringing the ice cream. :)

Great pictures, Niobe.

Her little hands are precious and the apples on the tree look wonderful.

Apple pie, apple crisp, apple sauce... We picked many, many apples. Anyone (especially those who bring ice cream) ia welcome to stop by for some.

Julia: Yes, that's Mattea, stuffing her little face. We actually didn't get any Courtlands, just MacIntosh and a few Galas for my sister-in-law.

Tis that time of year when apples ripen and everyone wants the ones at the top of the tree! Anything apple tastes great. I'd love to stop by for an apple treat even if only hot apple cider. Hmmmm!

Thanks for the wonderful pictures. They are soothing on such a clouded morning (sky- and otherwise).

Those pictures! And the smocked-baby-dress-chubby-hands prettiness!

Those are perfect apple pictures Niobe--I have similar ones myself of our most recent apple-picking trip here.
Absolutely love the pic of Mattea--adorable chubby hands.
