recommended reading

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
As you can probably guess from my blogroll, there are a fairly large number of blogs that I read or at least look at on a reasonably regular basis. Still, I find that it's far too easy for me to limit myself to the ones that I've become most familiar with. Given the vastness that is the blogosphere, I always wonder about the ones that I'm overlooking. Which is why I'd love to get some recommendations for new and different blogs. Is there a blog or blogs that you read and enjoy that I really should be reading too?

edited to add: Feel free to recommend blogs that include discussions of pregnancy, babies, or children. None of those things bother me in the least. There's just one type of blog that I'm not yet up to handling: those in which the author is pregnant with twins. Which shouldn't rule out very many blogs, but has forced me to stop reading a few of my favorites

My reccomendation-

Eliza who writes it has 3 small offspring, all of whom share a nameless genetic condition. It's the most anonymous blog I read, I don't even know the sexes of the children, it is however a highlight of my day if there is a new post. She deals with what I would describe as the worst luck I've heard with such great humour that you can't help but smile.

Very sorry, I mucked up linking on that one, but it would seem that if you click on all the text you get to the Doolittle blog.

How about:

Riley's Ramblings

or

Zone Family

I don't read very many blogs myself, but I am looking to expand my list too. So I'll be checking back here, to see everyone's great suggestions.

I've just started reading Wabi's blog at wabi-sabilife.blogspot.com--you might like that one?

Christina is a very talented writer (like yourself) and artist. She's also a wife, teacher and mom. She also has a beautiful outlook on life.

In my dreary corner of the world her beauty and enthusiasm make me smile.

I am all over the place. I often surf blogs from posts people make. One I like is: http://jennyhaha.blogspot.com/

Is varied and hallarious at times but then I like balanced blogs with some seriousness yet some levity too.

Hello there. Saw you over at Christine's place. I don't see Mrs. Chicken listed here. She is lovely.

Wish I could help but I don't venture far from the loss/IF boards with the exception of a few mommy blogs... but those I got from you. Looking forward to getting some good reads and the time to read them.

You've already got a lot of the ones I read on your blog roll - but I've been liking this one lately -

I find it hard to recommend anything without fear of hurting you. You may want to have a look at 6.5 stitches, but be warned that she has two small children that turn up in post every now and then.
And I second the recommendation to Moreena's blog.

Sometimes I just like to click through from blog to blog to see where I end up, selecting blogs I don't know from the blogroll or links in a blog I do know. I've found
Mom Ma'am Me (http://www.mommaamme.com/mommaamme/)
Rivers are Damp (http://riversaredamp.wordpress.com/) and Barbara Ganley (http://mt.middlebury.edu/middblogs/ganley/bgblogging/)
that way recently.

You know I didn't comment here for a long time because, you know, I have a baby and didn't want to, you know, make you feel bad. But then you commented on my blog and ever since then it's felt comfortable. I always think about you (and other people like you) when I write my paeans to the baby.

I'm too lazy to hyperlink...sorry.

I love your blog, btw. I really don't remember how I got here, just that I bookmarked it and stop in every now and again.

For the most part I stay away from the pg with twin blogs as well now - however whenever I feel most like torturing and hurting myself I'll open them up. I'm still working on my blogroll so will get back to you when it's done!

Kristie at Now Quite What I Had Planned because she is ridiculouly funny and long-winded I might add. She has 3 children (8, 10 and 11) but has dealt with infertility, adoption and surroagecy. She's just plain nuts and I love her.
