nablopomo

Inspired by the profound and contemplative Chani, I signed up for National Blog Posting Month a/k/a Nablopomo. As I understand it, the only rule is that, every day during the month of November, you're supposed to put up at least one post on your blog. I figured that since I post pretty much every day anyway, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch. In fact, I think a bigger challenge for me would be National No Posting Month, in which participants would be forbidden to post anything at all for a entire month.

But, anyway, if you have nothing much else to do in Novemeber, think about signing up. Because we all know that there aren't nearly enough blog posts out there already.

I post pretty often, too, but with the end of the semester coming up, I think saying I'll definitely post that much will just stress me out.

Eva: Exactly. There are things that are (hard as it is to believe) much more important than posting. And end-of-semester stuff is certainly one of them. I think Nablopomo is mostly for people who want the extra push to post more.

I need that push. I'm going to at least go to the site!

Yeah, I'm with you -- National No Posting Month would DEFINITELY be harder for me.

I am too chicken to sign up, but I will try to do that unofficially anyway. Kinda the listener option...

As I said on my post, I'm still not sure. Maybe if I waffle for the next two days, it will be too late to opt out.

Posting won't be a problem but the commenting might kill me off! :)

I am not sure if I can do this....I go back and forth on it...

I did this last year, and I learned which readers only read the lastest post when they check in because they miss important details. It was fun to have a goal.

I need to post more in my blog. I might try the challenge unofficially. Thanks for your comments re: surrogacy. I completely understand your feelings of relief. I think I feel relief as well b/c so far, treatment with my body hasn't been very successful, so let's see what happens when we add a normal uterus to the mix!

Thanks, Niobe, I did it. I think I needed that push.

I'm doing it! Hopefully, I can succeed. I'm going to put my best foot, er, hand forward :)

I did it last year, and it was a ride. We lost our internet connection in the middle of it, so I had to go to the local library with a busy 8-month-old to keep up. I thought about doing it again, but we have just too much going on right now. I'll do my best to be a great cheerleader though!
