maybe those were the best years of my life

I was emailing back and forth with one of my college roommates, who, in the middle of talking about something entirely different, reminded me that one of my nicknames used to be: Evilla, Handmaiden of Satan.

And stop looking at me like that's a bad thing.

What's not to love about that?

That is too funny! It's memories like that that keep us talking to our college roommates...

Great nickname, sounds like they were very good years.

That just makes me a bigger fan of you. I began taking bitch as a compliment. It meant I was getting through layers that shouldn't be there. But I'm not at all arrogant. ;)

Someday...you must elaborate on the genesis of that nickname...and how it fit...

Personal, I feel this is compliment.

And I too would like the story.

I don't think I've ever had such a cool nickname.

Great porn name, too. Funny, I never had nicknames, unless you count all the reductions of my name, down to 2 letters. (And btw, my name is AH, Satan!" backwards. That's gotta count for something.) I certainly see Evilla as a compliment.

And, my dear? Now you have to tell us how you got the name?

I can imagine the downward spiral of emails that must have lead up to that memory being rekindled.

This was a fun post to read as my first jont over to your blog (visiting from Sunny's post today)... great first impression! Can't wait to get to know you better heehee.

Actually, I'm not sure that there really is a story behind the name. Just something that my roommates came up with for no apparent reason. Really.

I am sure there is a wonderful parody to be made of the song "Cruella DeVille" from 101 Dalmatians, but I am just too tired to exert that much creative energy these days.

Dearie, I confessed to my husband just tonight that back in high school, I uttered the following words:

"I'm definitely going to our 10-year reunion so I can see exactly how big *homecoming queen's* ass gets."

He acts like I wasn't a bitch before I met him *rolls eyes and sniffs dismissively*. I would have LOVED to be called EHOS :)
