Hmm. Top one is very inviting. sink one - were you wearing red? Or is there red dishes/pans off to the side? Interesting.
thirtysomething: The red is actually the reflection of a soda vending machine, selling (I think) coke. The drain is the drain of the water fountain (does anyone except people from my home state use the word "bubbler?") that I talked about taking photos of a few posts back.
I know the first one is the one everyone is loving, but I am fascinated and quite taken by the second one.
You come up with such interesting juxtapositions.

I was thinking the "sink" looked really clean, but then I looked at the grunge along the edge of the drain.

The first one looks a bit troublesome to me, but that's just me. I grew up in a place where the second one would have had "chaw" all over it. No wonder I don't know what they look like close up. Both lovely.

Which: I think it was the "dressed as a candy cane" rumor that I wanted to dispel.
that first picturelooks so much like "my spot" at the camp I used to work at... a tree that had fallen into the lake that I would retreat to a with a book or a journal or just my thoughts. I would sit and listen to the water gently lap the shore, and all would be restored.
