In honor of St. Patrick's Day, Lori at Weebles Wobblog is running a limerick contest. To enter, just write a limerick that includes the name of a blog or blogger and links to her blog. If you're a little rusty on the limerick form, check out these (uncharacteristically clean) examples.

Once you've composed your deathless ode, post it on your own blog and link to it in the comment section of Lori's limerick post. Enter as many times as you like, but remember the deadline is March 9. If you're not feeling creative, at least read the entries and vote for the best one. The winner of the limerick contest will receive a 50% discount on an adoption profile review. But, more importantly, she'll have a chance to bask in the bright spotlight of fame.

It's Bea that she's asked to go by
And others hasten to comply
But rather than bother
I call her The Blogger
Formerly Known As Bub And Pie.

A blogger whose name is Niobe
Said, "Look, my name sounds like Nairobi
It isn't ni-OBE
Doesn't rhyme with microbe
And if you don't like it, then blow me."

*Oh, and Lori says you're not allowed to use the word Nantucket in your limerick. Probably because, um, it's too hard to think of a rhyme for it.
