602

Do I win the dubious distinction of having the most unread posts on my feed reader of everyone in the whole entire world?

What's your number?

Wow! Well I only have a few blogs on my feed, and I usually manage to read them every couple of days.

Sounds like catching up could be a full time job for you!

Wow...mine is only 73. (Seventy-two after I mark this post as read...)

:)

104.

5169

(not currently, but a few weeks after giving birth that was the number. Between the Reuters news and political blogs, etc...I have to drop the ones who post 10 times a day I think....)

Currently 41. But I've been working my butt off to keep it so low.

Holy crap! I was proud of myself for getting under 100.

Preparing to read 602 posts would be like preparing for a marathon. Endurance for Niobe!!

Maggie said...

Currently I only have 30. But I usually get up to at least 200 once or twice during the week.

Heather said...

Uh. Just 7 when I checked this morning. But I do catch up on everything twice a day, and I clearly haven't subscribed to too many large numbers of posters.

Right now mine is 98 but I rarely get on the computer over the weekends so by Monday it's well over 200. Once I took a week off and it sky rocketed to over 1000. :-)

I don't do the "reader thing." I just click around to the blogs I like. I know, call me old fashioned. So, I guess that makes my number 0!!

Currently 242, but only because I'm working on it right now. I usually break 300 once or twice a week, and have gotten to 4 figures more than once.

Thus the reason I have a "goal" of having it TOTALLY EMPTY at least once... sometime... in the somewhat undertermined future.

It would probably help if I quit subscribing, huh?

I have 11!

But I've had hundreds and hundreds and hundreds, like when we were in Sweden. And I'm about to have a hundred or so after this trip to the beach.

Um, mine is at 1000+ (it maxes out at 1000). It's probably around 3000. Yikes.

reading this nice short post brought me down to 324. Relief!

Mine was 753 this morning. But I don't read them all every day.

Yolanda said...

As of right now, 45.

Unread messages stres me. I click obsessively, and I'm not afraid to "Mark All as Read" in an effort to see 0 unread messages.

EmmaL said...

Right now only 5 but that's cause I am on vacation and have been keeping up!

Gwen Papp said...

OOhh..mine's 65. The highest it's ever been was just over 300, after a vacation, and it stressed me out. It took me weeks to get it back down under 100.

See, I don't read on the weekends and hit "mark all as read" on Sunday nights...

77, but I've been meaning to update my reader for about, oh, 5 months now, so there are about a bazillion blogs I should be reading going unnoticed by me. And my reader.

When does school start again?

Clarabella said...

Mine's only 89, but the majority of that is news stories from BBC and CNN. But I'd imagine you have WAAAAAY more blogs on your reader than I do. And I check my reader neurotically multiple times a day and also, like a previous poster, have the NEED to see the count at 0.

Caro said...

Mine isn't too bad but then I'm at home all day and can check regularly at the moment. I'm sure it'll be terrible after a long weekend in barcelona with no internet checking.

Another old-fashioned reader here. I click on the actual blog, popping around and using other's blogrolls to do it. It's like playing leapfrog.

So I have zero unread posts.

m said...

Ummmm..... 1656.

Seriously.

(Do I win a prize?)

x

Karin said...

LOL!!! 1656!!! Wow, that has to win right?

I'm old fashioned too. (or perhaps, old, without the fashioned part)

No feed. 0 to read! I just hop on when I can. If I had a list, I'd have many a sleepless night!!! :-)

I have had over a 1000. I just cleared them all and started over.

sharah said...

At the moment, 244. But google reader maxes out at 1000+, so I don't know how bad the damage has been in the past.

flutter said...

today? 183

Amy said...

At the moment, 83. I think 600 would cause me to mark them all as read and start over!

Julia said...

502, two seconds ago. 501, now that I clicked on this one. :)

docgrumbles said...

I thought I was behind with 195. You beat me. Last week I was in the 300's, though, so I made some progress.

Briar said...

405. Well, 404 now that I came here.

Magpie said...

73.

But that's blogs, not posts. Lord knows how many posts it is.

niobe said...

You guys all make me feel so much better. I didn't even know that some feed readers topped out at 1000....

Betty M said...

Clicking over here has just got me down to 398 after some concerted activity post holiday to reduce the load. I have given up thinking I will read some of the multi writer loads of posts a day type blogs I read.

Anonymous said...

186, and that's since Friday. There's a couple of blogs that are updated many times a day, that really racks up my numbers.

Amelie said...

close to yours, and that's only a fraction of the blogs I have in my old reader -- I dropped many simply because I can't keep up with all they write. I should learn to read faster, I guess.

497 - down one because I came here . . . more than a week after you posted it.
