statement of facts

IMG_3559Some days when I'm working, I can get into that zone where ideas link themselves into twisty chains of flawless logic, shapely, full-grown paragraphs materialize on my monitor and all my calls and emails are returned with disconcerting alacrity by people eager to tell me exactly what I want to hear.

This wasn't one of those days.

Oh I so know what you mean.

I hope tomorrow is a better day.

I understand completely what you mean.

It always seems that when I give up, just let it go, things go better.

Hope things begin to go that way for you, too.

I have those days too. Both kinds.

Today was one of those days for me, too.

Somedays feel like I am back in high school and I just want to get back in the flow...

I used to be like that. Remind me what it's like to be in control, even if it's once in a while.

I hear you. Substitute "monitor" and "emails" with "poison ivy" and "rash" (and no, no doctor called me back with alacrity) and you have my day. These days suck. I'm taking Benedryl for mine, I gather you're cooking tomatoes for yours?

Logic? I'm supposed to be earning my keep using it and I haven't been able to even add in weeks.

Love the word "alacrity"

Delicious. Hoping you have better days.

I had a few of those days this week. I asked my friend when does it gets easier, and she raised her eyebrow and said, "who told you life ever was easy." Yikes, and she was my polyanna friend.

Hope tomorrow flows better.

I totally know what you mean.

Better, then, to skip the statement of facts and go straight to the argument.

I pray a lot for timing...walking in somewhere unannounced...and getting what I need without a wait.
Somedays it works. Some not.

"shapely, full-grown paragraphs materialize on my monitor"? Oh, Niobe, I bow down and worship you that you ever have days like that. Could you send even 10 minutes of one my way? Please?

And people telling me what I want to hear? Never. It used to happen, way back in my golden childhood it seemed to happen all the time and I would duck my head all bashful. Now it never happens. Ever. Ever. Eva.

Wishing you a better day tomorrow.

Ya, but that's some nice melon you've got. Or, rather mango. It just looks like a hooter to me.
