overbooked
This trip has been so jam-packed with scheduled activities (Ivanov! Oedipus Rex! lectures on stage lighting! and fund raising! the Byzantium exhibit! the National Gallery! the Japanese candy store! Fortnum & Masons!) that -- as you might have noticed -- I haven't been able to devote nearly enough time and attention to my own blog or, for that matter, to yours.
I'm hoping to eke out a few hours to do a little reading, but, in the meantime, please, please tell me: what have I been missing? What's going on where you are?

well you asked... I surveyed the baby goat damage in the garden (they prefer strawberries and purple cabbage to all other things), I enjoyed the spring sunshine, I watched Jon Stewart online, and took an afternoon nap where I nearly go sunburned through the open window.
Things are slow here... love the photo!
Chance and I have dates.
Nothing. Skip me and read someone else.
I have absolutely no motivation. Also the Halloween fairy finally took my kids candy and gave them money instead, which will save me money on dentists.
Liberal Leadership is on, and I have to pick someone to support, but I'd rather run a cheesegrater over my eyeballs.
And Julius is about to get fitted for a helmet for his bent head/plagiocephaly.
Plus we got the psychoeducational tests back on the Boys and I'm trying to figure out what to do with the results.
There are more little bits, but that's the highlights.
My soon-to-be-ex and I got back together. I quit my job after I got my early decision acceptance letter from Georgetown Law. I found out I was having twins. The ultrasounds had just missed the other baby all this time. And one of my software prototypes finally sold!
Nevermind. I had cereal for breakfast this morning???
I'm getting ready for my studio tour and feeling pretty stressed about it.
Yay, Kym & Chance! Thanks for letting me know. Because I know there are so, so many things I've missed.
Good Lord...
Well, Dave is teetering on the brink of a nervous breakdown, and wait! so am I!
Things are...interesting around here.
sorry I got lost in the peacefulness of that photo
The photo is wonderful.
My week was full of stressful work stuff that probably won't be blogged. I'm glad it's Friday.
lectures on STAGE LIGHTING? what is it that you do?
Love the photos.
Over here? not so much.
spinning my wheels.
Well I was at Ivanov too last night. What did you think?
Betty M: I thought the production was wonderful though, in my view, Branagh was a bit miscast -- too much star power or charisma or self satisfaction or something to make you truly believe in his depression and hopelessness.
Though, on reflection, I'm not convinced that that's entirely a bad thing.
