antisocial tendencies

what the wind said
This is absolutely, positively not a confession thread. In fact, I'm thinking of swearing off confession threads pretty much permanently.

Nonetheless, I'll confess this. I often have(no surprise) an inordinate craving for alone time, especially because I don't get all that much of it. So, having the house to myself for the past two days while the other members of the household sojourned in various and sundry faraway cities?

Best. Xmas. Present. Ever.

There is nothing better than having the house to yourself...even if it's just for an afternoon.

Swearing off confession threads, even though I don't/can't read them anymore, would be an Xmas gift to me!

Alone time rocks.

I hear ya. I'd take an evening all to myself in my stocking if Santa could manage it.

I love "me alone at home" time too. I try not to say that in front of my friends with kids, because they just "look" at me, but it's true -- dh is around constantly & while I love the guy ; ) there is just something satisfying about having time to oneself at home.

I loved it when my family left to visit their grandparents and wear gone for almost two weeks. Husband too. It was great! I remember my mom asking me if I was sad they were going. Uh, NO. I get to do what I want for days on end!

I would really miss the confession threads, but understand why you'd want to stop.

As for alone time. I love alone time. Love it. Best. Thing. Ever.

So very jealous!
In fact, we are about to go skiing with ILs and then fly to visit my family. And I feel like I am about to suffocate.

I love time off work, with or without my family. But honestly being able to spend two weeks with my son without having to work 12 hour days is enough of a present.

I love alone time too, so I totally get your excitement about this. Have a Merry Christmas doing exactly what you want!

And thank you, for commenting on my blog and supporting me.

I wake up an hour or two early just to have some alone time. But I can't even imagine having the house to myself for an entire two days. I wonder if I'd like it? Enjoy yourself!

Same here... I love spending time on my own. Always have. I think you can really appreciate company if you feel comfy all by yourself.

Happy silence & enjoy the holidays!

Alone time is possibly top of my list. I need a lot and I often sneak off to read in the afternoon, pretending I need a nap when all I actually want is some time alone and away from everyone.

I'm cheating on my husband with my neighbor's son's best friend. The sex is amazing!

Wait. Is this not the confession thread? My bad.

I'd kill for some more alone time... I think we all need it.

Merry Christmas.

Oh good heavens I love alone time. As grateful as I am to have become a mom of an energetic toddler, I wish there had been some way to warn me of how this would affect my alone time. Though, really, how could knowing have helped?

Enjoying 1.5 hours right now, with DS happily off with his grandmama. And spending some of it on your blog -- hope you feel as flattered as you should ;)!
