fight fiercely, team!

touchdown
I hear there's some sort of athletic event occurring later this evening. Likely, I'll be wheezing and sniffling while trying to sleep off my recent Theraflu binge.

But who are you rooting for?

eta: and thanks so much for the many compliments on the exceptional cuteness that is Cole!

We're a house divided. I would love to see the underdog pull off an upset. Go Saints!

Awful nice looking little man you got there, Niobe.

So sorry you're under the weather. Hope you feel better soon.

I'll root for that little guy. He's cute.

Also, I'd rather watch my son throw around a football. It's been a while since I've watched the big game at the end of the season.

Get well!

We're not much into the sports thing around here.. But best of luck to whoever is playing.

Money's on the Colts, my heart is with the Saints. I'm mainly looking forward to the ribs and subs and whatnot.

Feel better!

Not Focus on the Family with their stupid commercial.

I won't watch it, I don't get the rules to American Football. They are just different enough to be confusing. I do watch the Canadian Grey Cup, with great glee!

Err - in our big game I was rooting for Arsenal although not enough to watch/listen.
In yours which I could watch if I felt compelled to stay up all night Saints I suppose.

OH my god, he is gorgeous.

And while the boys here at school are VERY EXCITED about tonight, odds are I'll be in my room knitting and watching non-sports-related television.

uh game, what game? I have no idea who is even playing! Very cute picture!

I am rooting for that cute little baby!

My God, he is so adorable - look how big he is!!
Oh, and I don't do the SB jazz..never had any interest, but I hear it is a very raucous event :) Not to sound superficial, but I ususally just say the next morning that I was rooting for the team that won...:)

@Heather H: Too funny. Because the next morning I usually say I was rooting for the team that lost. Let's not think too deeply about what that says about me.

Oh my word, I don't think he could be ANY cuter! He's going to make a fabulous older brother!

I didn't even realize the Superbowl was today...not a football watcher. Although I do love some of the commercials!

Hope you feel better soon!

out here I only get a few channels and CBS isn't one of them. I plan on parking it in front of PBS and getting my masterpiece theatre on.

And good night is that a BEAUTIFUL boy!!! Wonderful photo.

I'd root for whoever your boy is rooting for. He's too darn cute! Feel better.

The Saints, of course!! I even wore black and gold. Which is WAY out of my usual "avoid the football game on TV like the plague" behavior.

And... we won! Whoo-hoo! the fireworks are STILL going off in my neighborhood!

Was absolutely THRILLED with the Saints' win.

That's one cute petit bout you have there. You're probably constantly shuddering at the "who dat" expression.

I love the picture! I can't believe he is getting so big. Look at those pretty teeth too! As you know, my girls both have gaps in their teeth (from me of course- all the bad things always seem to come from me), and the dentist has already confirmed that Lauren will have to have braces. I'm sure Allison will as well. But Cole's teeth look just perfect. I know that teeth is a totally random thing to focus upon, but that's just me I suppose.

I wanted to Colts to win just because S and most of my friends were rooting for them. I really didn't feel strongly either way though.

I hope you feel better soon!

ZOMG LOOK AT THE CUTE BABBEH! Saints all the way!

Seriously laughing at all the people who didn't even know that the Superbowl was last night. Get your heads out of your asses!

Ignorance is not bliss...ignorance is...well...stupidity. At least that's how it comes across. You don't have to watch or enjoy football to know what's going on in society! Watch the news sometime, ok?

The Saints of course! I ;ive in Louisiana and when they won, people popped firecrackers and screamed and yelled from their porches. My dogs wouldn't even go outside. I had a full house last night and had to do lots of dishes before I went to bed, but I was happy!

Was rooting for the Saints so I'm pleased by the outcome, but even more so by the fact that you posted a picture of your adorable little cutie! Precious.

Was rooting for the Saints, mostly because I had a great time when I visited the French Quarter and I usually cheer on the underdog. This is the only football game I watch during the season so I am quite pleased that they won.

Furrow said...

I was actually planning to watch the game (well, to occasionally glance at the score and take note of who won, that is), but Z and I ended up playing for the hour before her bedtime and then we both fell asleep at 8. The team I was rooting for won.

Oh, and super duper cute young person you have there.

Frank and his family are from Lousiana and his mom came over to watch the big game with us (and my mom and dad and sisters). Naturally, the house was rooting for the Saints and there was nothing but yelling during the exciting 4th quarter.

The SuperBowl is the only football game that I ever give half a flying flip about. I was personally cheering for the commercials, which I always look forward to more than the game itself.

Oh, and duh - cute kid. :)
