even a watched pot boils eventually

So, I took a screen shot of the ticker from Trish's blog and I was, like, gulp. Because, even though it says there are about 25 days left, in fact, there are considerably fewer. As in, say, 20. Maximum.

I've been pretty thoroughly in denial for months, but I suppose I need to make travel plans.

Can I start panicking yet?

Panicking seems an appropriate reaction about now.

I love your title.

Do panic -- but not so much that you forget about the plane tickets (or whatever they are).

Holy crap! 3 weeks? Let the panicking begin!

Yup panic seems in order. How short notice can you get flights etc? Just saying as each of mine has come earlier than the last.....

Wow. And yes, now would be a good time to um, get ready to roll:)

Commence panic mode, Niobe. But don't forget to sprinkle in some excitement and joy!

Well, I'd pack at the last freakin' second. But a full blown panic attack involving a few chocolate bars and a bottle of wine is certainly in order.

Yes to panicking. Would like to second missedconceptions suggestion that excitement and joy might also be appropriate!

Panic not. It's counterproductive. Pack a tiny bag of tiny clothes and diapers, find the car seat, and pack a larger bag of jeans and shirts and underpants. Then buy a plane ticket. And take a deep breath!

Hah I love your post title, too :) I'm so excited for you! So, you panic and I'll think the excited thoughts! hehe

I also would pack at the last second and totally indulge in the wine and chocolate freak out as per Tash's suggestion. If you are going to panic, at least do it hopped up on sugar and wine.

Can I squeak a little? eeeeeeee.

Chiming in to voice my support for indulging in chocolate and wine.

I'd buy the plane ticket now, then pack and panic later. Treat with chocolate and wine throughout the process.

Very happy for you...

I totally feel the urge to dance around and sing 'You're gonna have a bay-bee! You're gonna have a bay-bee!'

If you're going to panic, I'll be excited for you :)

Holy crap, I can't believe it's almost time!! I am still SO EXCITED for you -- and I can't WAIT to meet your newest addition!!

Feel free to panic a little...but make sure you pack first, just in case -- babies don't keep a very good calendar, you know!

Thinking about the post from a few weeks ago (babysitting arrangements) I believe you are doing the things your own , special, personal way: organized where need is (Cole), plane tickets? - at the counter ten minutes before takeoff, arriving when "the doctor is telling to push". I trust you that you'll still have a milimeter of nails.

P. S. I love Clementine... (the name)

Just remember ... when travelling domestically, all you really need is a credit card. And a map to local wine shops ... but you can buy that with your credit card! :-)

You can panic, and we can all be level-headed and suggest things.

Don't forget your camera!

ok panic a little but focus of stuff like packing instead. Be methodical and let your brain shift into a zen state about the trip.

and I am just bursting for the post with all the good news and details about your new, little girl.

Oh gosh...you're going to have a baby girl soon! I'm so very, very happy for you. Maybe a little bit of happy, restrained panicking is in order? Or, do like I do, and make a list.

Travel plans should probably be at the top of said list. :-)

Niobe, I am certain your personal panic exudes a certain coolness, so panic away. Have you got the kitchen sorted for a post-baby marathon? So excited
