Finally, it was an actual nice (almost too nice, even) day, so I let Cole run around outside while I took pictures.

And, yes, in every single one of them he's clutching that bright green straw that we swiped from Starbucks when I got my iced latte. At least it's kind of photogenic.

Marjorie is totally into straws now too. We dare not get a drink at a fast food joint without getting her a straw for her milk and then one for road as well.
He is getting so big and is adorable!

Even though Cason is just about the same age, I still can't believe how big he (Cole) is! And so handsome too:)

What a soft, gorgeous picture. I love his expression, my brother used to have that look when he was little.

Oh, you bemuse me. Don't you ordinarily allow him out, then?

@Ellie: We've been experiencing a deluge of practically biblical proportions. So, yes, this was one of the very first days that I actually let him out in the yard.

He's adorable.

Glad you were able to get out and enjoy the day. We've been doing the same, but now we almost could use a bad day as we need the rain.

What a handsome boy!

It would seem that he did not adopt the straw as his new permanent best friend. If it was just a passing fancy, be thankful for small mercies!

Oh so handsome, your little man! Can't wait for that little sister to get here! :)

It's hard to believe that he's running anywhere already. Wasn't he just born like two seconds ago?
