why, yes, i was a troubled child

Whatever interest I had in lemmings rapidly evaporated when I learned that the fuzzy little rodents didn't actually assemble in enormous packs, then, racing in unison, hurl themselves from cliffs to drown in the sea below.

The poor lemmings have sucha poor reputation! They do build a very cool network of tunnels beneath the snow during winter, which is why they aren't seen, and people used to presume they'd thrown themselves of cliffs!
Global warming is now leading to less snow, and teh poor lemmings can't build their tunnels, leading to more of teh being eaten.

Yet another romantic notion from childhood dashed.

Thanks. ;)

It probably should be read as an indication of my own troubled childhood that I laughed at this post.

NOW how am I going to cheerlessly mock someone who follows a popular trend?
