I have been there twice, but the last time I was there we stayed with friends who were living there at the time. It was such a different experience than staying in a hotel. I loved it. I felt like we really *lived* in Paris during that time, and I know we saw so much more of the city than we would have otherwise. I have such happy memories of that time.
I'm glad you are enjoying yourself. You deserve it!!
lovely pictures. I looked at them and thought "it looks like she's in Europe" - I'm catching up, see, and reading your posts backwards. And look, you are, in Paris! I hope you are finding that you can relax, and that the change of scenery is invigorating and healing. The sense of history is also a sense of perspective, I find, when you visit a place with some much that is so old.

Gorgeous. I've always liked those kinds of photos - obscure roof lines and little details. And your capture PARIS very well.
Nice. With enough coffee, wine, and views like that, why leave that apartment at all? :)
Oh, those photos look so, so Parisian!

Good photos, Niobe!
you seem to get the best darned windows, wherever you go.
Can you give me your room number? I will be right over!
Oh my....I want to go too. This looks really really wonderful.
Why is it that the buildings in other countries are so beautiful? But here in America they are just so plan. Beautiful pictures thanks for sharing.
