And this one is about a nun walking very quickly -- almost running -- across the Piazza di san Pietro, carrying something that looked very heavy.
In somewhat related news, the airline still hasn't found my missing luggage, which contained, among other things, a bottle of calvados, a pink scarf, my favorite shoes and (stupid me) the laptop with all my photos.

That Sucks with a big S! I hope they find it all...I lost one many(circa 1985) years ago and still miss the favorite shirt and fuzzy bathrobe to this day:(

I've had my luggage "misdirected" so many times I expect it now. I'm actually surprised when it ends up where it's supposed to be (ie, with me).

To give you some hope, it took 6 weeks once but the airline DID find my luggage. I had gone to Michigan, it had gone on a cruise to Alaska.

I don't play betting games with loaded guns or babies, but I'm willing to bet some serious money here that your luggage returns with scarft, shoes, 50-50 on the booze, and no laptop. Effin' airlines.

oh n. how awful. don't beat yourself up too much. i once, in a rush, packed CASH from my mom and a platinum watch in my luggae in a SECOND world country. they never found it. i complained, via letters, and finally got about $1000 in flight coupons and a check.
though, i hope they find it very soon. they've also lost my luggae and returned it two weeks later before.
sheesh! lame!
Oh wow, I'm sorry. My laptop went down once, and I felt so displaced. I can't imagine it being lost in an airline abyss...

Hopefully they will get it back to you soon. Once mine got lost when I was in highschool and I refused to go to school for a week because 'all' of my clothes were in there!
