free stuff redux

IMG_4754
Well, that didn't work out quite the way I planned. A few weeks ago, I offered some tiny bottles of Demeter fragrances (the coolest scents ever) to a few lucky commenters. I thought I was kidding when I said "void where prohibited."

But, as it turned out, three of the winners live outside the US and, when I went to mail the packages, I was told that you can't send perfume internationally. Which means that Amelie, Alice, and Topcat will be getting substitute prizes. But their loss is your potential gain, because I still have four* fragrances to give away.

They are (descriptions from the Demeter website):

  • Wet Garden (full of early spring flowers after a hard April rain)

  • Hawaiian Surf (the early morning moment when the sea salt scent of the ocean off of the Hawaiian beach is as pure and peaceful as sunlight itself)

  • New Zealand (a fresh green outdoor fragrance) and

  • Chocolate Mint (self-explanatory)

And, just for good measure, I've also got two free subscriptions to Woman's Day magazine.

So, if you want to enter the drawing for one of these fab prizes and you live in the US, leave a comment and I'll do a random drawing at around midnight tonight. If there's one of the prizes that you absolutely DO NOT want, let me know in your comment and I'll make sure you don't get stuck with it.

*Four because Sandy, another one of the winners, never emailed me her address. Sandy, if you're out there and you live in the US, send me your information and your prize will be on its way.

I have a friend in PA who's husband has been really sick...it would be nice to send her something pretty. SO it would ship in the states. :)

Throw me in the pot. I'm a bit meh on chocolate mint as a scent rather than an edible, but really i'm here to say: No more magazines. For the love of Mike.

No one got Funeral Parlor?

I'm in! For anything other than Chocolate Mint!

Um - Antigone - how do you reduce me to tears one second and crack me up the next??

Anywhoo- Niobe - throw me back in the mix. I'll take whatever and whenever. I'm easy.

Not Chocolate Mint and not Women's Day.

But the others sound divine...

Chocolate mint (self explanatory)

*giggle*

I'll take the Chocolate Mint. My husband might find himself inexplicably drawn to nibble my neck. :)

Anything other than magazines or chocolate mint, please.

Ooooh, pick me, pick me! I love free stuff. (Although, honestly, not keen on chocolate mint perfume).

This is fun!!! Anything but the chocolate mint would be great!

Ooo la la (as my nephew would say!) put me name in the hat for the perfume.

I'm in! Especially for the chocolate mint. Yum.

Pretty please with sugar on top.

I would love Hawaiian Surf, because I wish I were there right now!

Yeah, I'd probably just recycle the magazines without reading them anyway. How I'd love a sniff of New Zealand though, gotta love a country where sheep outnumber the people.

Ooh - anything but Chocolate Mint!

I'll take anything! The chocolate mint sounds great to me, I'm suprised so many people don't like it!

A second chance I'm still hoping for Wet Garden, but I never look a gift horse in the mouth.

niobe said...

Baggage: I'm equally surprised. I think that the chocolate mint would be my first choice. And I'm not even especially fond of chocolate.

So excited to have a second chance! however, not to be ungrateful, but no magazines please - I somehow never manage to read the ones I subscribe to!

Oooh, I'd love to try the New Zealand, although anything free is pretty exciting.

Please consider me for the "Any Fragrance but Chocolate Mint" category. Thanks!

I'll be cheeky and put my name down again, because even though I live in NZ (and who ever gets that fragrance... I'd be keen to have you put a drop on paper and mail it down so I can compare it to the real thing), my permanent address is in the states and I can pick it up on my next trip home.

all 4 sound good

I'll try again. All of them sound yummy except for chocolate mint.
Since I know it really is a random selection process, I won't beg to you, just to the number gods.

I will take any of them but the Chocolate mint.

Thanks!
