Still here. Still waiting. Making lentil soup and looking at the crooked hearts traced by the snow.
at or about
That you see hearts in all of this is actually quite beautiful, Niobe.
What C. said.Closer still.
Thinking of you!
that first picture somehow makes me want to eat it.
We are waiting here with you my dear.
I have no idea how you got that first shot, but color me impressed. As usual, of course. We braved the elements, and are now back... There's about to be a chicken stock-based squash soup, rotisserie chicken, and steamed vegetables-- the chicken's been marinading since last night, and we just got ourselves a steaming tray for the rotisserie at a store going out of business... Waiting with you.
somehow we avoided it. Famous last words before tomorrow, I know.
Turnips in there with the lentils?I'm thinking of you - and Kyrie.
It is snowing here, which is lovely when I am inside by the fire. I made the mistake of looking at the forecast for tomorrow, which is "ice pellets". I am pretty sure someone switched Western Oregon and Nome.

I thought of you so many times yesterday as I tried to capture pictures of snow. The backyard was sculpted in two feet of snow and you would have taken such beautiful pictures.
Crooked hearts are the best ones.Hoping with you...
Thinking of you in this wait.(Go ring your Dad)Sorry to be bossy.Barbs
